Straight answers

Septic questions, answered plainly.

How often should a septic tank be pumped in Indiana?

Every 3 to 5 years for most households. Bigger families and smaller tanks trend toward 3 years; we tell you the right interval for your tank when we pump it.

What areas does Bright’s Septic serve?

All of Grant County — Marion, Gas City, Upland, Fairmount, Jonesboro, Sweetser, Swayzee, Converse, Matthews, Van Buren, and Fowlerton — plus Hartford City and surrounding Central Indiana communities.

Are you certified for septic inspections?

Yes. Bright’s is IOWPA certified for both septic system installation and inspection, including real-estate transaction inspections.

Do you offer emergency service?

Yes. Backups and failed pumps don’t keep business hours, and Grant County’s largest septic fleet means we can usually respond fast.

What shouldn’t go into a septic system?

“Flushable” wipes (they aren’t), grease, paint, harsh chemicals, and anything that isn’t wastewater or toilet paper. Wipes are the #1 clog we pull out of Grant County tanks.
